Device Policy

Device Support Lifecycle

All devices offered for rental by SingCats may remain within the active rental fleet for as long as the relevant device or model remains within its manufacturer's official security, software, firmware, or applicable support lifecycle.

For devices where the manufacturer provides security or software updates, including but not limited to devices from Samsung, Apple, Google, Nothing, and other manufacturers, the device may remain in service while the manufacturer continues to provide applicable security or software support for that model.

For devices or equipment where security or software updates are not applicable, the supported rental lifecycle shall instead be determined by the manufacturer's applicable product support, serviceability, safety guidance, expected service life, or other relevant lifecycle information.

The frequency and form of manufacturer support may vary between manufacturers, product categories, models, regions, and generations. SingCats does not guarantee that any device will remain available for a predetermined number of years.

SingCats may retire, replace, suspend, or withdraw any device earlier where reasonably necessary due to its physical condition, battery health, reliability, safety, security, manufacturer guidance, availability of parts or support, or other operational considerations.

Where applicable manufacturer support for a device has ended, SingCats may retire the device from the active rental fleet and cease offering it for new or continued rental.

Monthly Rental

Device Rental Pricing

The standard monthly rental rates for eligible Samsung Galaxy A-series 5G devices offered by SingCats are:

The applicable monthly rental rate is determined by the device model provided to the customer.

Rental pricing applies to the use of the device and does not transfer ownership of the device to the renter.

SingCats reserves the right to introduce, revise, or discontinue rental rates for future rentals or other device models and categories. Any pricing changes shall not retrospectively alter a customer's existing rental rate unless otherwise agreed between SingCats and the customer.

Rental Flexibility

Device Swaps

Renters may request to swap their rented device for another eligible device within the SingCats rental fleet after completing a minimum rental period of twelve (12) consecutive months with their current device.

The twelve-month period begins on the date the current device is issued to the renter. A voluntary device swap does not become available before this minimum period has been completed.

All device swaps are subject to device availability, eligibility, condition of the returned device, and approval by SingCats. Where the replacement device carries a different monthly rental rate, the applicable rental rate for the replacement device shall apply from the date of the swap.

Upon completion of an approved voluntary swap, a new twelve (12) month minimum period begins from the date the replacement device is issued.

The twelve-month requirement does not apply where SingCats determine that a device must be replaced due to a fault, safety concern, support issue, recall, or other operational reason. Such replacements are not considered voluntary device swaps.

SingCats may also, at its discretion, offer a like-for-like or substantially equivalent technology refresh where the replacement device remains comparable to the renter's existing device but provides a minor generational or connectivity improvement, including a transition from 3G, 4G or LTE to 5G.
